STAKEHOLDERS PUSH FOR SRHR LAW REFORM
Civil society and government stakeholders in Malawi are calling for urgent legal reforms to improve adolescents’ access to sexual and reproductive health services. Youth Advocates Executive Director Tatenda Songore said conflicting laws are leaving healthcare providers confused and young people without essential care. Stakeholders are urging the government to fast-track the adoption of a regional Model Law to harmonize existing policies and protect adolescents’ healthcare rights.

Four Days of Learning and Growth at the Marondera Youth Camp
From 13 to 16 July 2026, 105 young people gathered in Marondera for a four-day camp focused on mental health, reproductive health, substance-use prevention and entrepreneurship. Through honest discussions and practical activities, participants gained confidence, developed business ideas and learned where to access free, confidential support through the 393 Youth Helpline.
